Business Development Manager

Job Description

OneEvent empowers the protection of lives and property with patented IoT safety solutions to protect buildings, homes, assets and occupants.

We’re seeking a qualified business development manager to generate sales through expert cultivation of new business opportunities. The ideal candidate will need to dive right in, take the lead, use initiative and generate new sales.

Objectives of this role

· Identify, track, identify and add qualified B2B prospects to sales pipeline

· Take a lead role in developing new-business proposals and presentations that create and nurture opportunities and partnerships

· Track and report on the status of pipeline components

· Prepare and submit sales contracts

· Identify trends and customer needs, building a sales pipeline for short/medium/long term in accordance with targets

Responsibilities

· Generate new leads, identify and contact decision-makers, screen potential business opportunities and facilitate sales presentations

· Manage proposal response process, including detailed RFP requirements, content creation, and inputs from various sources

· Implement overarching outbound sales and business development strategy, sales processes, structure, and best practices

Required skills and qualifications

· Successful track record in technical B2B sales and negotiation

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Experience in sales techniques

Preferred skills and qualifications

· Technically oriented and ability to quickly learn and communicate key features and benefits of our patented refrigeration monitoring systems

· Experience with CRM software

· Ability to deliver presentations effectively

· Detailed oriented and ability to track and follow up on a significant volume of new business opportunites

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
